Plantarium is part of an interactive installation that my team and I created for Tetem's "Gen C: Children of 2050" exhibition.
The experience revolves around a future world where children help the environment by extracting the essences of various mechanical plants for crafting purposes. In the installation (which is aimed at children), users scan physical props and then interact with their digital versions in our game, where they can add the plants to different machines to extract their essences.
I was the 3D artist for this project. I created all the machines and other 3D props. I also added them to Unity so that I could enhance their look with particles and shaders (I made a water and a fire shader for this purpose).
This project helped me familiarize myself with Unity beyond a base level and allowed me to explore ways of breathing life into my models with particles and shaders.
